Rock Star romance series? Hmm, yes, yes and oh.. YES!
This is one of my favorite things in the world to read but I bet you all know that by now..
I loved getting into this series and being introduced to all the boys in Reckless Beat, and of course our heroine too, Alana.
Alana had been sheltered from the world her whole life due to her mother's fear of men. So when she finds herself free and in a new city with her crazy best friend she makes the most of it. First step, go to the super exclusive rock concert of Reckless Beat, which her bff won tickets for, and is a hard core fan of. What Alana is not counting on is sharing such a deep attraction with the band's guitarist, Mitchell Davies, who also can't keep his eyes off her.
The woman standing before him had stolen his attention from the first strum of his guitar. She stood out like a beacon, her wide eyes and shy smile destroying his focus. He could tell she wasn’t a show-your-assets-to-get-a-backstage-pass kind of girl. In fact, he didn’t think she was a hardcore fan at all. There’d been no screaming, no flashing, and no panties flying at the stage when he smiled at her. Instead of the typical seductive glances he’d grown accustomed to, she gave him a glimpse of her gorgeous dimples and broke eye contact. The angelic sight grabbed him by the balls and still hadn’t let go.

After the concert Mitchell asks her to hang out, at first Alana is apprehensive due to all the insecurities she has because of the way she was brought up, but with her best friend's encouragement she finally gives in and meets Mitchell for drinks. What no one was expecting was what happened right when things were getting good.
Basically there's a slight accident on their way to the bar. And I'll just say that this was seriously brilliant for the plot of the book, seriously well done. This accident is what basically allows them to develop more than one night stand sort of relationship. Mitchell takes care of Alana until she's okay, and it's in those days that their deep attraction becomes more, much more. And I seriously loved reading how they went from strangers, to 'friends', to lovers. They way their relationship evolved was very sweet.
He leaned down and picked up the shirt she’d been wearing and handed it to her. “Is this going to be your first walk of shame?” She cringed and tried to swallow over the lump in her throat. “Unfortunately, yes.” She pulled the material over her head and took the awaiting underwear and shorts he handed her next. He chuckled. “Well, be prepared for humiliation of Titanic proportions. I’m pretty sure Blake likes you, and he never holds back on putting shit on the people he likes most.”
I just really enjoyed reading this! It was so sweet, and fun, full of heat and steam (oh my!) and just super fun scenes (you'll enjoy these guys so much, specially Blake). Of course, some sad and angst-y moments are presented, but they really make this story a very entertaining and good one.
Also, it's a fast read too, or maybe that was just me because I enjoyed so much. If you've read this or read this book after reading this, let me know if the same happened to you or not.

Blake, oh Blake. I knew I was gonna fall in love with you all the way down. You already owned a piece of my heart in the first book but now oh damn.. You completely took over this gals blood pumping muscle.
I loved everything about Blake and Gabi, absolutely everything, even the stupid drama. I loved the fact that they already had such a strong relationship even before they met in person. And just how everything unfolded was so sweet and sexy, and of course you can't forget the angst and the secrets that are revealed.
Damn her perfect logic. He grabbed her hand and brought her knuckles to his mouth for a kiss. “I love you, you know that.” “Doesn’t co—” He plastered his hand over her mouth, paying her back for the times she’d done it to him in the bathroom. “It does count,” he leaned in to whisper in her ear. “It counts every damn time I say it. It doesn’t matter if I’m fucking you, loving you, or trying to drown you in the Australian ocean. I love you, Gabi, more than life.”
These were just so damn sweet. My heart melted. They might be my favorite couple. Definitely my favorite from the books in this boxed set, but I still haven't read Sean or Ryan's books so we'll see. I do have a feeling I'll really enjoy Ryan especially because I had a feeling from the very first book and I have shipped them as couple since then! Ah, can't wait to finish this series and find out!!

Oh man, this sure was a crazy weekend. Started off really really fun and just kept getting funnier until one moment you're laughing and the next minute you're crying. Oh boy this novella had my heart all over the place.
I felt so bad for my babies but the strength of their love was proven, and they can overcome anything together.
“You’d cry for me, Blake?” Her words were meant in jest, only they had the opposite effect, turning the vice on his chest tighter. “I’d cry a river if it meant you’d be happy.” Gabi’s gaze swept over his face, back and forth, reading him, penetrating deep. “You always make me happy.” He cupped her jaw in his hands and leaned in so their breath mingled. “Then marry me. Be my wife.”

Undesired Lust:
Mason, oh sweet Mason. I had a feeling you were not the asshole you made yourself to be. I love being right. I also love these kind of books so much. Bad boys who are secretly not so bad. đŸ’˜ đŸ’˜
I seriously had no idea I would like Mason so damn much but I really did. He was super sweet and I couldn't get enough of him.
“Please,” he pleaded. Her heart stuttered as she blinked the heat from her eyes. Who was this vulnerable man? The possibility he was playing her, using his tenderness to gain trust she no longer had to give should’ve caused concern, but she was too exhausted to care. Finally, she would let him know what his actions had caused, and once and for all, things between them would be over. She had to move on. “Why do I still have feelings for you?” she whispered. “Because I can’t forget the man you used to be.”
I also really liked Sydney. The poor thing had been put through so much already with the scandal and she just kept getting hit.
There's a lot of drama and suspense in this one, it was awesome. I mean, from the very first moment this one character appeared, I got a hunch him/her was not genuine, and as the plot thickened and more incidents happened I was more sure of it.
I also felt really bad for Sean, at first I really though that him liking Sydney was just to make Mason jealous but it turns out he really did like her. Poor guy. I can't wait for him to get his own happy ending. He deserves it.
He stared into her eyes, seeing his future reflected back at him. No other woman would ever compare. She was the full package—brains, beauty, and inspiration. He was done. Lost. Completely sucker punched by the potency of his need for her.
Seeing Mason in love and not hiding his feelings was one of the best things about this book. I loved seeing him so damn smitten with Sydney and not hiding it behind his asshole persona.

I think you probably could tell that I really did enjoy this series. I absolutely without a single doubt recommend this to all fans of rock-star romances, or just romance fans in general, who enjoy books filled with sexy men, a whole lot of fun, a little or a lot of angst and the sweetest love stories.
I can't wait to read the rest of this series, I seriously can't.
Sean, Leah and Ryan I am coming for you.
