We are so thrilled to reveal the cover for GETTING SCHOOLED by Emma Chase, a brand new standalone releasing on audible February 27th and everywhere else June 26th!

Head of the class...

Garrett Daniels has this whole life thing figured out.

The cocky, charismatic former high school star quarterback is an idolized football coach and "cool" teacher in the hometown where he's not just a golden boy — he's platinum. He has good friends, a great house on the lake, and the best damn sidekick a man could ask for: Snoopy, the albino beagle.

Then...Callie Carpenter comes home.

And knocks him right on his tight end zone.

Back to school...

Callie has a pretty sweet life herself...on the other side of the country. But circumstances — that she'd prefer to never speak of again — have brought her back home, helping out her parents and substitute teaching at her old high school.

Now she's facing bickering, raging hormones, constant gossip, awkward weirdness, and drama galore...and that's just the teachers.

Just like old times...

When Garrett offers to show his former high school sweetheart the secrets of his winning teacher ways, Callie jumps at the chance - and then has to stop herself from jumping him.

Good friends are all they can ever be.

Or...these teachers just might end up getting schooled — hard — by love.

Includes a special bonus interview with the author!

I had been dying to read this one since I first finished Prelude! I had so many questions, so much curiosity regarding Julian and his past and just what he could be hiding but oh my god I was not expecting this!!!
I adored Prelude but Interlude was way better, if you've read Prelude you're in for a treat with this one! So much happened, so many freaking revelations and just a whole jumble of emotions. It was seriously so good! Specially that ending oh my god! I loved loved that ending. It was brilliant!

“Do you know how many times I’ve dreamed of you playing the piano here?  Just the way you used to play for me when we were kids.  I bought the Fazioli for you.  I had imagined being here in this room with you while you played it.”  His soft lips plant light kisses along the side of my neck before he whispers, “And how far my imagination has taken me. I’ve never been this happy before.”  Taken aback, I turn my head and capture his bottom lip. “Is it me or my music that makes you happy?” I ask, teasing him.  “You. Your music. Your smile,” he says with tenderness. “You make me happy too.” I turn my body and straddle him with my legs.  Staring directly into those gray-blue eyes of his that make me crazy, I lean slightly forward. My palm instantly comes to rest on his chest, feeling it rise and fall. The rapid beating of his heart startles me. He’s as affected as I am.  “Lina, you unravel me.”

I don't wanna spoil the plot for you so I'm not touching that. But just know that it might get frustrating because Lina has a lot of issues due to Julian having left her, not once but twice and also the whole issue with Andrew, so yeah she's very insecure and has no idea what to do most of the time regarding both Julian and Andrew.
At some point in the book, I was so damn frustrated with her, I wanted to scream. You'll know when if you read this. I can't explain otherwise I'm spoiling your asses big time. Seriously though that part was so frustrating but then what happened after that and those last 5-6 chapters made up for the whole thing. I'm still high on those last chapters, and they weren't necessarily happy but they explained a lot and give you an insight to what's still going to be explained in future books, like Andrew's!

A part of me is filled with joy because I’m in her company and we’ve managed to be close friends. And another part of me is filled with sadness because she’s the only woman I’ve ever loved. And she is no longer mine.

Let's talk Andrew for a second.. I hated him in the first book, for real, I thought he was a douche and that she should leave his ass high and dry and never look back. However, Auden in this book totally redeemed Andrew for me and I seriously don't know how she could do that. But I absolutely loved Andrew (again: how???), I really did. I felt really bad for him, once he apologized and explained things. My heart hurt for him! And the epilogue OMG, loved loved it so much. I need his book STAT! I need him to be happy, and be over Lina and maybe be with you'll know who from the epilogue. I totally feel a forbidden romance coming our way, hmm can't wait!!!

“What makes you happy?” “You,” he answers without hesitation. “Excuse me?” “You, Evangelina Darling James. You. Everything you do. The way you roll your eyes when you’re enjoying that cupcake. The way you laugh like Betty Rubble without a care in the world. The way you have no filter and say whatever’s on your mind. Even when you call me an arse.” He winks. “The way you love Mugpie. The way you get lost when playing one of your compositions on the piano. The way you sing your heart out and so out of tune to your favorite songs.” He laughs before continuing, “The way you moan when I kiss your delicious mouth. The way you look at me like I’m the only person in the world. You. You make me insanely happy.” Sweet Jesus, I am in deep trouble. For someone who never does romance, Julian is a quick learner. Actually, he’s a master at it.

I highly recommend you pick up this duet up if you haven't read Prelude yet, and if you did then you definitely need to read Interlude. It's so good and you get all your questions answered, and then are left with more questions that you'll be dying to know the answers too.
For real, this book was great, you get to feel it all, the heartbreak, the frustration, the doubt, the grief, the heat, the love, everything! It was amazing! If you liked Julian in the first book, you're gonna die over the real, the true, the naked Julian Caine. He is so darn sweet and has overcome so much. His past is just insane and you'll understand everything that has happened in the first book and during this one. God damn, he's truly amazing! I just loved him!

“You’ve always been mine even when you were engaged to another man. And you’ll be mine as long as we’re both breathing.”

Release Day Blitz: Taming Him, Kennedy Fox

Title: Taming Him

Series: Bishop Brothers

Author: Kennedy Fox

Genre: Contemporary Romance

Trope: Vacation Romance

Photographer: Wander Augular

Model: Zac Aynsley

Designer: RBA Designs

Release Date: January 30, 2018

*Each Bishop Brothers novel is an interconnected standalone*

Alex Bishop is your typical cowboy.

Charming, sexy, and wears a panty-melting smirk.

Working on the ranch helped build his solid eight-pack and smoking body. He’s every girl’s wet fantasy and he knows it too. Alex doesn’t follow the rules of your typical playboy bachelor. After wining and dining his dates and giving them the best night of their lives, he always sends flowers and calls the next day—even if it’s to say, let’s just be friends. His mama taught him manners after all and his southern blood knows how to be a gentleman. Still, that isn’t enough to tame the wildest of the Bishop brothers.

River Lancaster has finally met the man of her dreams. Too bad after six months of romantic bliss, she finds out he’s married. With a broken heart and blind rage, she books herself a ticket to Key West, Florida. Tired of cheaters and liars, she’s set on escaping to forget he ever existed. Who needs a man when there’s an all-you-can-drink margarita bar, anyway? That’s what she tells herself until she bumps into the right guy who can make all those bad memories disappear.

Even if it’s only temporarily.

Two weeks on the beach is what they both need. No strings attached, no expectations, no broken hearts. Too bad the universe has other plans—one that’ll change the entire course of their lives in just nine short months.

**A complete standalone contemporary romance with a little southern drama**

Cowboy romances isn't something I usually read or even appeals much to me but when this series was first announced, I knew I had to read them because 1- it's written by these two ladies and I haven't read anything by them that I haven't LOVED and 2- these are Courtney's brothers we're talking about here, so of course I was going to read this if it meant I could get a glimpse of my babies again, which I did and ahhhhh I miss them!

Anyway, yeah I guess you could say I'm not much of cowboy girl, I mean I admit they are sexy and all with that southern accent and cowboy hat, tight jeans and the boots...but it's not something I'll jump to read but let me tell you... these two ladies sold me on cowboys!

Alex Bishop, well more like ALL the Bishop Brothers (even Dylan aka Alex's best friend) they sure got me going and I'm gonna jump to read all 3 books remaining in this series because GOD DAMN, all Bishop Brothers have so many promise and I'm super excited to read about them all! Evan is next and omg it already sounds so good! I bet it's gonna be filled with banter and super funny. I'm so damn excited! Also, I'm super excited for Jackson, I found him the most asshole-y and playboy-ish but I think he's the one I'm most curious about, I'm dying to find out more about the whole best friend thing. Can you tell how much I love best friend to lovers romances? Yeah, I bet you can.

Getting back to Alex.. Oh my Lord he was perfect y'all.. perfect! That dirty mouth combined with southern gentleman will melt all your panties. He was first introduced as a playboy but soon, at the first glimpse of River he was tamed. It was so amusing to read their first encounter. Alex met his match in River and I seriously loved these two from the start. Their relationship starts as a one week vacation rendez-vous and as they spend more time together, feelings start to grow but time is ticking and after the one week, how could they ever be more?

River having just been through a nasty breakup and having watched her parents relationship fall apart when she was little, she doesn't trust easy and overthinks everything. So, she knows there's no chance that they could be more with Alex living the ranch life in Texas and she living so far away. What  neither of them counted on was her showing up in Texas a couple months later with some huge news - Alex hadn't just treated her well and fucked her good while helping her check things off her vacation bucket list - he also left a bun in her oven.

From that point on wards, it is so damn sweet to read about them getting ready to have a baby and building a solid relationship on trust and love, and not on sex and lust. I swear this book was the sweetest book Kennedy Fox has ever written! And I loved it! Alex turned out to be such a sweetheart, he had me swooning all the darn time. I loved him and River together! They were seriously so sweet, it was so wonderful to read.

Taming Him was laugh out loud funny, heartwarming-ly sweet and oh so so good! I seriously recommend you save a horse and ride this cowboy! I loved Alex and River's story to pieces! Even if you're not much of a cowboy fan, you should give this one a try, I have a feeling KF will sell you  on them like they did with me!

And the promise of the other three Bishop brothers will have you dying with anticipation. Evan is coming in the beginning of April, he's going to be my early birthday present; what more can a gal ask for?!

Review: We Were One, Elizabeth Reyes

Title:  We Were One (Looking Glass alternate POV)
Author: Elizabeth Reyes
Genre: NA/Romance suspense/Romantic thriller
Release Date:  January 29, 2018
The mystery of love is greater than the mystery of death.

~Oscar Wilde~
Adoration is not profound enough a word to express the
depth of my love for her. From the moment she walked into my life and
set my heart and soul on fire, not a day’s gone by that she hasn’t
plagued my every thought.
We were each other’s completion. She was everything I wasn’t–the sigh to my roar, the virtue to my sin, the cure to my wounds.

We Were One.

Until the unthinkable happened.

That I’ve survived such a tragedy without having completely lost it,
is a mystery in itself. But as my mind starts to blur the lines between
reality and my delusional heart, I begin to question everything,
including my sanity.

And then the real mystery begins . . .

Looking Glass #2

Nico’s story

My God, this book... I don't know what it is this month but I'm having the best freaking luck when it comes to books, so many 5 star reads, so many angsty filled books.. I am in book heaven. 2018 I'm really digging you!
This book was just one of the many. It is freaking sweet, and boy my god so darn angsty it's not even the least bit funny. This book was the kind of angsty that borderlines physically painful. I swear, it really hurt for a long darn time to read this. It was seriously heartbreaking, omg! And if you're an angst junkie like me, this is absolutely the book for you!!

“I didn’t think anything,” I explained quickly. “That’s the problem. I wasn’t thinking when I decided to walk in there today. You just . . .” I exhaled, shaking my head, feeling utterly exasperated, and glanced around then looked back at her, lowering my voice. “You just do something to me, and I lose my mind.” Finally, the annoyed expression softened but just a little. “You do something to me too.”

I could explain to y'all some of the basics of the plot but I'm not gonna because it might spoil something important for you or completely ruin your reading experience of this book, so yeah I'm not gonna talk plot at all, just keep this short and sweet, and a total roller coaster of emotions because that's exactly how this book had me. Like I was riding a roller coaster, and at each flip I'd be punched in the gut with grief, heartbreak or the biggest plot twist ever.

“Your love is the kind that very few are blessed with. You’re like two pieces of a very special puzzle. Neither piece will ever fit anywhere else but with each other. You two are one, and without the other, neither will ever be whole again. So never ever let go . . . no matter what circumstances or what anyone says. You are one. Your hearts will forever beat for the other.”

Pick this one up, seriously! It is so god damn sweet at first, Nico and Maddie's story is a 'forbidden' love type of thing but oh so endearing and seriously super cute. They will have you laughing, swooning and just freaking loving this book because of their sweetness. Of course then comes the heartbreak, I think it was at about half the book so be ready for it, you'll feel it coming but you won't really be ready for it! From that moment forward it is absolutely heartbreaking, so have a box of tissues next to you because you'll need them!!

After reading that you may be asking.. wait does this book not have an HEA? It does, it does.. and you won't see that coming either or maybe you will. This book ends just right.. happy. But that ending will put your emotions through the ringer too.

Note: This book is a retelling of the story in Girl In The Mirror,  in Nico's POV, so if you're interested in reading that one first go ahead, but you don't need to, you just can if you want.
I didn't read it and I'm not even sure I want to, I think once was enough of going through the emotions their story put me through.

As I usually did when I first arrived at the
lake, I parked and lit up a smoke so I could stake the place out by
myself for a little while first. I’d heard about and seen enough of the
twins now to know they were getting popular with the boys. Not in a bad
way, but from what Nolan told me, even the quieter seemingly shyer one
of the two had just as many admirers as the more outgoing one. But I’d
yet to, nor did I plan to, socialize with either—ever.
“Did it hurt?”
I should’ve known right then those deep blue eyes
that close, coupled with that sweet voice, would be the end of me. It
was one of the twins—but unlike most of the folk in town, I knew exactly
which one—stood before me, staring at my arm curiously.
Trying not to get too sucked into her
intoxicatingly playful eyes, I looked away from them as our eyes met and
I glanced down at what she was staring at instead. I couldn’t help
smirking. She was asking about my latest tattoo.
“A little,” I said, not making too much of it,
then glanced back at her. Smiling at those curious eyes just couldn’t be
helped, so I did as I continued to indulge. “But it’s the best kind of
pain there is. The kind that hurts so good.”
I knew flirting with her was a risk, but I could
see the way she was looking at me—the way most girls did when I took
them in so unabashedly, making no secret of my dirty thoughts.
She was younger than most girls I normally hung
out with. I figured a few more risqué comments from me might have her
red as a beet and walking away as she should.
“That thing between your legs,” she said, making
me stop mid-drag of my cigarette, and my brows jumped at attention. “It
just keeps getting bigger.”
Coughing what little smoke I’d inhaled, I
proceeded to make an ass of myself nearly choking then laughing until I
was finally able to speak. “What?”
