I’m gettin’ dirty in the south with Ethan Rochester.

Hell Yeah!! As soon as this baby dropped in my kindle, I dropped everything else around me and started reading. And oh boy did it hook me line and sinker from the very fast page!

“That’s Wilma,” I tell her. She brings the mug to her lips and takes a small sip as I continue, “She’s the only pussy allowed in my bed, so don’t get any ideas.” Before I can react, hot coffee spews from her mouth and lands on my bare chest and face. “Oh my God!” She covers her mouth and laughs. “Why would you say something like that?” “Wasn’t it obvious? To get your hot saliva all over me.” She tilts her head and narrows her eyes. “Do you ever stop?” I purse my lips as if I’m truly contemplating her question. “Nah. I live for reactions like yours.”

I swear I haven't laughed so much while reading a book like I did with this one, at least not in a while, not even with romcoms. It really was such a pleasure to read this book.
I devoured it, it had everything I love in a book, a sexy, filthy hero, banter, very steamy scenes, angst, and so many fun convos and interactions!

I’m pretty sure I need CPR or some kind of life-saving equipment. I can’t seem to catch my breath, even though I’m breathing just fine, but the way he just kissed me and then walked away has my mind reeling and my body confused as hell. His lips were so warm and inviting, I couldn’t stop. I didn’t want to pull away and that’s even more confusing to me than I like admitting. However, I can’t deny the way his kiss affected me. The way his body pressed against mine or how my body responded like I was some desperate sex-deprived woman.

I did not want this book to end, I swear. I gave myself unnecessary reading breaks a lot just because I did not want to say goodbye to these characters. Like today, I had less than 20% left and I just kept putting it off, busying myself with useless things, yeah..
As soon as I finished the book I wanted more, more of not only these characters but also of what's coming next. I wish 'My week with the Fuck Boy' was ready for me to jump right in because I swear this series is gonna be a blast, I can feel it!

I give him a sweet smile and he pulls me close. His hot breath kisses my skin and it’s almost too much for me to handle. “You had me at hello, you know that?” I wasn’t expecting to hear that come from his lips. “Ethan…” “Don’t,” he stops me, sitting up and pulling me to his chest. My mouth hovers above his until he slightly leans up and claims my lips as his, completely stealing my breath and heart in the flicker of a moment. His kiss is so raw, that it almost reaches bone as he cuts me open with the emotion that’s streaming from this kiss. The shift I feel is so powerful, it’s almost as if the entire world tilts on it’s axis.

Brooke & Lyra know how to hook me every time, and they always write characters that manage to steal a piece of my heart. I absolutely adored Vada and Ethan! I could not get enough of these two, just like they couldn't get enough of each other. I seriously wanted more! I'm a bit sad to be honest because what the hell am I gonna do with my life now?! (Excuse my dramatics, I just want you to understand how much I wanted to keep reading and reading and reading).

If you've read and loved the Checkmate Series, then you got to read this one too! It's just as amazing and you're not gonna want to miss it! If you've never read anything by Brooke & Lyra aka Kennedy Fox (how they were known while their true identities were a secret), what are you waiting for? They are know for their perfect combo of steamy, funny and angst filled romances, and believe me when I tell you their characters will rock your world and obliterate your heart in the best way possible!
