The conclusion to David & Sutton's story was absolutely flawless. I loved the first book but it was nothing compared to this one.
This book picked up right where we had been left off in The Wright Love. While Sutton started closing off her heart again, her sister and her best friends made her see that she at least needed to hear David out. He has always been there for her, he wouldn't hurt her purposely and she had to know that.

“No,” I breathed. “Sutton, please,” he said. “This is right between us. You know it is. You can feel it. You can feel it here.” He pressed his hand to my heart and felt the powerful rhythm. Our lips almost touched again. A hairbreadth apart. I wanted to give in. It’d be so easy.

This book was a lot more David's book, we got to learn all about his past and shitty family and we got to see a bit of it too. And I loved it. I loved meeting his NY family and friends and being introduced to what will be the next series, which you could say is a spin-off of this one. And I am super excited for it, even though it's far off.

You, uh, didn’t have to do this.” “No guy ever has to buy a girl flowers. He does it because he wants to.” “Well, this isn’t…you know. This is…just a movie.” “Everything with you is more than just a just.”

Sutton still struggles with losing Maverick but she also knows that she loves David and she doesn't want to lose him too. I loved watching her be there for him and finding the strength to work things out between them and also fighting for their relationship. We get to see a whole new side of Sutton, her mama-bear that will do anything for the people she loves. Although, she will still manage to frustrate you a little with her fear ridden back-and-forth but she makes up for it in the end.

His secrets were armor. Bulletproof and impenetrable. Weathered from years of battle. But I’d removed each piece until all that was left was my David. The man before me. And it felt right. We felt right. “Sutton,” he whispered. There was unease in his voice, as if he was worried he’d just lost me. “Thank you for being my joy when I needed it most,” I told him. 

It's safe to say I loved this book and the conclusion to these 3 sweeties. I love the Wright family and there is no such thing as too many books in a series, so for me, you should keep on writing them K. A. Linde!
One thing is for sure this duet could have been just one book, it really could have, but then there would be no cliffy and the experience just wouldn't be the same, so I'm thankful it was a duet. And you will be too if you give it a chance. And you really should.
