REVIEW
Ilsa does it again. I freaking devoured this one. My head was fucked the next day due to lack of sleep because I was up until the wee hours of the morning reading this book. It was so good, I just couldn't stop.
I loved the fact that this was a second chance/ enemies to lovers romance. And it's Charisma's book. I had been waiting for this. I was so excited to be inside her mind. She is legit awesome. I so loved her and her badassery. Watching her pine for Blaze was heartbreaking but also exciting because she brought on her sass and bombarded him with it. You could tell from miles away that there was still so much between these two. They tried to play the cards of 'I hate you' after how their fling ended but it was undeniable that they still wanted each other BAD.
Charisma struggles with love. She doesn't think it's for her, specially not after what Blaze did to her. Yet she can't seem to stop thinking about him, even months after he broke it off and when he suddenly is thrust back into her life on a daily basis and wants to be friends... the air heats up and tension grows higher. Blaze is a bit broken, he didn't have a good upbringing and he has a lot of insecurities when it comes to his future and letting anyone into his heart. Watching these two struggle with their feelings for each and the insecurities that tore them apart in the first place is a bit of an angst filled ride but one with some crazy fun and scorching moments that will hook you in, line and sinker.
I Hate You is a sports/college romance you do not want to miss out on. Ilsa never ever disappoints and this baby is as full packed with laugh out loud moments, crazy entertaining banter and all the emotion you need as her other books.
