𝐅𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫 (𝐍𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐫):
Ryan Shea has sworn off men.
After her last relationship imploded in front of her eyes, she decides to take a break from swimming in the dating pool … possibly forever. The brilliant computer whiz loses her brain when it comes to love, and jumping feet first burns her every time.
Without a home, or much of a clue where life is headed, taking a trip back to the small town of Fawn Hill to stay with her best friend seems like the only option.
Except it puts Ryan directly in the path of the one man she can’t fall for. Fletcher Nash reminds her too much of the dark past she’s always run from; his demons are the things of her nightmares. And it’s no help that, when he looks at her, she feels as if Fletcher is the one person who truly understands.
Fletcher Nash vowed not to fall in lust.
Five years of sobriety, and he hasn’t broken the chastity promise yet. Not that it had to keep for this long … he’s well over the normal year addicts are told not to get involved.
But, aside from a busy schedule and trying to chase his dream of becoming a full-time artist, he has no intentions of committing to a woman until she is the one.
Why is it, then, that sassy, city girl Ryan Shea comes dangerously close to resembling the exact woman he could break that promise for? Like sand through his fingers, there is no way she’ll stay put … but his heart just won’t listen.
They pledged not to love anyone until it was the real thing.

So what happens when two people terrified of falling head-over-heels, actually do?

Falter is available for a special release day price of $2.99! The book will increase to $3.99 the day after release.

REVIEW

At last, Fletcher gets his story told. Man, I really wanted to be inside his mind and see how he was doing. It was awesome to see how he lived his life with addiction and get to see him overcome it every single day. He was strong in his weakness. I loved watching him work to have a normal life and working to do what he loved and boy that man was talented. I'm glad that he found a passion and that passion also gave him the reprieve from his struggle with cravings.

Both Fletcher and Ryan had their own demons which happened to steam from the same problem. Fletcher was still fighting off his cravings for a bottle, even after 5 years of sobriety. And he knew it was something he would struggle with every day, specially on the hard ones. It's why he had remained celibate and didn't want to get into a relationship unless it was serious. Now, Ryan her demons had been following her since her childhood, having an addict mother who never cared for her and only reached out when she needed money, that messes with someone's head. And Ryan had a lot of issues that were born from that. Dating the wrong guys, pretending things were perfect, never letting anyone love her for herself, not being able to settle down in one place. Not until she took a vacation in Fawn Hill, not until Fletcher Nash.

Even with their demons and the promises they made to themselves, the connection they share from the first moment their eyes connected at Keaton and Presley's wedding, is impossible to deny and to ignore. With each new encounter, the chemistry grows stronger and becomes even more impossible to ignore. They decide to take things slow and see where it goes, only with the deep connection they share, they forgo that really soon. After weeks of bliss and the beauty of a new relationship, things start to get real and the real issues of their pasts start to arise. Will Ryan be able to date an addict after what's she been through with her mom?

Carrie Aarons did an outstanding job with this book and this whole series. I completely fell in love with the Nash family and the town of Fawn Hill. It's a super sweet series and I absolutely recommend it to anyone who loves small town romances.

Author Bio
Author of romance novels such as The Tenth Girl and Privileged, Carrie Aarons writes books that are just as swoon-worthy as they are sarcastic. A former journalist, she prefers the love stories of her imagination, and the athleisure dress code, much better.

When she isn't writing, Carrie is busy binging reality TV, having a love/hate relationship with cardio, and trying not to burn dinner. She lives in the suburbs of New Jersey with her husband, daughter and Lab/Great Dane rescue.
