Review: Jock Rule, Sara Ney

Kip Carmichael is no pretty boy.

He's a rough. Dirty. Giant. Hair so unruly, and a beard so thick, his friends on the team call him Sasquatch.

The first time Sasquatch lays eyes on Theodora "Teddy" Johnson across the keg at a party one night on Jock Row, she'd been relegated to the sidelines by her jock hungry "friends."

Week-after-week, he watches beautiful but bashful Teddy getting overshadowed, and overlooked. Sasquatch finally broad shoulders his way through the crowd, offering to to be her hairy godmother. But the minute their eyes meet? He's a goner.

Teaching her the RULES for winning a jock will be the easy part. Not falling in love with her is going to be a losing game.

REVIEW
Kip Carmichael I had been waiting for you and you still managed to knock me on my ass. I am so glad I got to learn all his secrets and understand him. He was such a stellar guy even when he was an a-hole. This sounds wrong, I know, but you'll get what I mean. I had a lot of fun with him and Teddy.

Kip was a jerk when he first started talking to Teddy but they soon became the kind of friends who gave each other sh*t playfully and it was very fun and entertaining. And I really enjoyed how they friendship/relationship evolved. It was such a charming, romantic and dreamy relationship. Kip was the perfect hairy mother looking out for the girl who everyone was taking for granted. He wanted to help but he also wanted nothing else to do with her, but in a flash she was sleeping over and they were sharing things with each other he never before spoke about to anyone, and the chemistry between them was rising with every encounter. Jock Rule was a slow romance with the kind of fiery sexual tension that will have you boiling over these two. Expect a lot of laughs and giggles over their cute/fun banter and to fall completely in love with them without even noticing.

Like I've come to find out and is confirmed with each new book of hers I read, Sara Ney's books are always great for a good laugh, and this one was just as great as the first book in the series. Honestly, Jock Row was one of my favorite books this year and possibly one of my favorite sports romances of all time... so Scarlett and Rowdy will always be special to me and no, Kip and Teddy did not dethrown them but they came pretty close, wish is saying something.Seriously if you have read How to Date a Douchebag series but haven't picked this one up yet for whatever reason, I'm letting you know right now that this one is turning out to be so much better and don't get me wrong I really loved HTDAD (I will always love Zeke) but Rowdy and Kip have been so stellar and just so damn fun and different, I am loving this series so so much! Like always, I can't wait for more and meet the next guy who will make me laugh my ass off and the girl who is going to steal his heart right from under his nose.
