REVIEW

I don't think I was ready for this one. I knew Kale's story wasn't gonna be all flowers and rainbows but oh boy I wan't expecting this.

I liked him so much in Show Me The Way but I had no clue how much I would fall in love with him now. And boy did I fall, hard. Kale was absolutely perfect. He is the sweetest, such a good soul who happens to be broken. He is amazing, in every sense. I love how he's such a good friend, how much he loves kids, Rex's and little Evan and how much he loved/cared for Hope even when he fought it.

“Don’t let the past keep you from today, man. (...) You’re the coolest fucking guy I know. You love with all you have. You give every part of yourself to your career and still manage to give more to the rest of us after there shouldn’t be anything left. You deserve to live, Kale. Really live.”

Kale Bryant has a gigantic heart and it was time someone made him see how much good he deserved, how happy he could and deserved to be. 

Hope was exactly that, hope for Kale and herself and her baby boy. My god this woman was going through so much and she still managed to give her all to Kale and love him, hard. Hope is a very strong woman, and god did she deserve to find love and happiness and to keep her boy and her man. I adored Hope to pieces! She is an amazing mom, a strong as steel woman and just a caring person who is in the middle of a big mess because her baby daddy is the biggest asshole in the world. I'm so happy that she found love with Kale and that he helped with her problems. If it weren't for him, Hope would have lost everything.

“I don’t know what this is, Hope.” His mouth kept moving higher, whispering into the thin fabric. My heart kicked. Bucked against its confines. “What’s happening between us. All I know is that you’re making me feel things I haven’t felt in a long, long time, and it terrifies me.”

This book was beautiful, so beautiful. I loved Kale and Hope's story. Both of them had such heartbreaking pasts and a lot of things to work out in their lives but they were both better with each other no matter how complicated things were; things were supposed to work with them in each others lives. It was imperative that they meet when they did, truly it was fate. Everything worked out because they had each other, otherwise I don't think it would have worked out at all.

I'm just so happy that these two found each other and found a love so strong that even when Kale wanted to run away he couldn't. Their present and future were so intertwined, it just wouldn't have been the same if they hadn't been in each others lives, and that seriously makes this story so amazing. I fell in love with their love, it's a special kind of love and it was just so amazing and beautiful to read about. I'll forever be in love with this three-some. And basically this whole series. I loved Rex and Rynna and I know in my heart I'm gonna love Ollie and Nikki so hard! I cannot wait!

He was so, absolutely a keeper. I could only pray he was really ready for it. For us. That he understood what being with us would be like. Because Evan and I? I knew we were a big decision. What I knew would be a huge change to his life . . . his previous lifestyle so different than the kind of life we had to offer. But I knew, with all of me, that Evan and I could fill his life with so much joy. The kind of joy he had evoked in me. And my heart? It was always hung on hope. And all I was hoping was Kale could see it, too. That he really wanted it. That he would take a chance on us.
